GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

We are actively recruiting a Business Analyst/Senior Analyst to join our Compensation Team. Our team is responsible for partnering across DaVita to design, implement, and execute rewards strategies and compensation programs that reinforce our mission, vision, and business objectives. Compensation delivers strategic business insights to executives on external labor market factors in conjunction with our internal pay practices, and we partner with management as well as other teams across the Village (e.g., Talent, Diversity & Inclusion, People Analytics & Insights, Transformation). This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

  • Develop, maintain and deploy dashboards and models that deliver insights on both internal and external pay data, informing leaders so that they can make strategic and impactful investments
  • Design and improve processes for both new and existing initiatives that positively impact the teammate experience / teammate financial health (e.g., attracts, motivates, and retains teammates)
  • Partner with multiple corporate and operating groups as an internal consultant:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR partners and business leadership
    • Understand business unit needs and design tailored solutions
    • Conduct ad hoc qualitative and quantitative analyses
    • Develop and present insights and recommendations
  • Drive and support the design, execution and implementation of various compensation programs (e.g., merit, bonus, long term incentive, and other monetary recogniti

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • 0-2 years relevant experience
  • Project experience or comparable problem solving or analytical background
  • Technical and analytical skills, including MS Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities from multiple sources in a fluid environment
  • Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills

    Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to perform successfully the essential functions, duties, and responsibilities of the position.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Physical requirements can vary. These must be reviewed with management. However, in general, the position requires the following physical activities:

  • Ability to lift minimum of 2 pounds to a maximum of 15 pounds unassisted; able to sit for extended periods of time with some standing, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching; moderate range of body motions.
  • Ability to hear and interact by phone and in person clearly and efficiently; ability to make effective presentations to management at all levels.
  • Ability to use computer and all peripherals for extended periods of time.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    Level III - Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic)

    No required tasks involve greater exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues than would be encountered by a visitor. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids or other hazardous conditions. Normal hazards associated with occasional business travel.

Salary/ Wage Range

$51,400.00 to $75,500.00

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
