The Business Analyst, Revenue Operations (ROPS) will be responsible, in collaboration with teams across the company, for developing studies and analysis to identify and implement opportunities within DaVita's revenue cycle, with the objective to grow DaVita's revenue and improve bottom-line performance

What Will You Do?

As a Business Analyst, you will develop strategic recommendations across the Revenue Operations group key focus areas, e.g. revenue strategy, process improvements, and operations innovations. You will interface with Revenue Operations, Finance, and Field operations to ensure revenue-maximizing processes and strategies are developed and executed. You work on projects pursuing business opportunities that may not have been previously identified. The role has a high level of visibility with leadership given the strategic and collaborative nature of the work, the requirement to work cross-functionally, and overall ability to impact the bottom line. The right candidate will be expected to: i) perform complex analyses including analytical modeling ii) effectively synthesize key messages from analysis, iii) contribute to special projects, and iv) contribute as a thought partner to various ROPS initiatives.

Additional responsibilities of this role include the following:

Problem solving and critical thinking

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to break down complex problems into digestible pieces, and develop a robust approach to solve
  • Robust analytical and quantitative to assess and quantify business impact of various efforts honestly
  • Challenge status quo operations to identify transformative change
  • Ability to manage own resources and time in a manner commensurate with expected value

Collaboration, and Executive communication

  • Build relationships within the revenue cycle organization and across diverse departments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including key functions and lanes
  • Answer-first approach

What Skills Do you Bring to the Role?

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or related field
  • Strong quantitative skills, including model building and insight generation
  • 2+ years of related work experience or Master's degree
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred

  • Experience using SQL
  • Interest in Healthcare
  • Relevant experience in healthcare revenue cycle
