Overview of Role: Advanced Systems Engineer
The Social team needs a meticulous and fast-working systems engineer who can drive automation, process-improvement, and exercise good judgment for a team owning enterprise SaaS solutions. This role is responsible for ensuring that deployed products can scale to millions of users in the U.S. and multiple international markets.

The Associate Digital Experience (ADE) team manages IT infrastructure and internally-facing tools and applications. We support a large heterogenous enterprise environment that support Windows, MAC and Linux based end user systems and corporate network, server, and virtualization environments. The Enterprise Collaboration team is a part of ADE team responsible for end-to-end support of collaboration platforms.

The Enterprise Social team within Enterprise Collaboration focuses on creating an easy way for all Walmart associates to instantly chat and ease collaboration across multiple time zones and locations. We are increasing productivity by connecting associates to each other and to the company.

Work on enterprise collaboration tools - MS Teams, Zoom, Slack, Workplace from Facebook, or other SaaS or M365 products Own the product holistically and collaborate with users, business owners, stakeholders Work with product engineering team and required stakeholders in testing, planning, rollout of products/tools to production Make strategic decisions, and partner with team on developing roadmaps for the products Diagnose, identify, and resolve the issues within the products/applications by working with support teams, and identify ways to proactively solve those issues in the future Identify opportunities for continuous improvement for user experience of the tool Own projects from end to end: discovery, scoping, design/engineering, execution, scaling/implementation, monitoring the change afterwards Partner with other internal teams to enable application-layer implementations on top of SaaS products Publish authoritative support documentation to assist onsite staff with solutioning Maintain and fine-tune a high degree of product queries and adhere to all service management principles
Our Ideal Candidate:
Skilled professional product or service delivery portfolio Experience with Azure Active Directory or administrating M365 products 5 years in supporting a medium or large enterprise environment technology and collaboration platforms Experience in handling product transition, rollouts Flexible, customer-focused, strong work ethic and enthusiastic to learn new skills Experience partnering with 3rd party product providers
Preferred Technical Experience:
Experience scripting in Powershell Experience implementing SSO for a SaaS solution Familiarity with JIRA Familiarity with ServiceNow Experience with corporate-managed devices: BYOD/MDM/Airwatch or otherwise Understanding of network security principles: Proxies/Firewalls/DNS
