Department Summary:

The Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology provides the finest graduate professional education in both speech-language pathology and audiology while maintaining an excellent undergraduate degree. The program stresses excellence in teaching, research, and service by its faculty and students. As a component of the educational program, the department operates the UNT Speech and Hearing Center. The Center offers state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, and hearing disorders to members of our campus community and the general public for the purpose of providing clinical training for students.

Position Summary:

The Department of Audiology & Speech - Lang Path seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2023, Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.

The anticipated need is for Adjunct Instructors to teach courses that may include but are not limited to:
Undergraduate courses in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology ( ASLP
2015, 3030, 3040, 4040, 4045, & others)
Doctoral Courses in Audiology ( 6070, 6730, & others)
Clinical Practicum Courses in Audiology ( 6010, 6020, 6060, 6090)
Educational Audiologist and Clinical Supervision

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctor of Audiology ( Au.D).
For Clinical Practicum courses only: license to practice in the State of Texas; AND Certificate of Clinical Competency by The American Speech-Language
Hearing Association or Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Audiology or related field.
