Compensation: $15.00 hourly

*PRN position - must be available to cover evening, overnight and/or weekend shifts. 

Addiction Recovery Technicians are responsible for supervision of consumers to ensure their safety and well being for our adolescent substance use disorders clinic in Rolla, MO.  Shifts most often/availability required for evenings, weekends and overnights.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. ​Provide group education
2. Transport consumer as necessary
3. Log new medications and store appropriately on unit
4. Observe self-administration of medicine on unit
5. Assist with orientation of new consumers
6. Complete paper and electronic documentation within required time frames
7. Attend staff meetings
8. Conduct disaster drill on each shift
9. Observe Unit Manual Policies and maintain high standards of professional behavior
10. Assist client(s) with transportation as clinically indicated. Driving is an essential function of the position
11. Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma/GED preferred

At least eighteen (18) years of age required

A valid driver's license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E MO or Class D LA driver’s license by the end of the 60-day introductory period required

Agency established minimum automobile coverage by the end of the 60-day introductory period required

Good verbal and written communication skills preferred

Ability to attend a 2-day orientation on a Monday/Tuesday required. 

Is team oriented and values diversity. 

Must be comfortable working closely with people with addictions disorders and have a desire to provide excellent client care.  On-site training provided.
