The addiction recovery technicians are responsible for supervision of consumers to ensure their safety and well being. Coverage usually needed during evening, weekend, and overnight shift hours.  Currently seeking applicants in providing as needed/part-time coverage with the potential to grow the position into full-time with successful completion of training and the six month orientation period.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  1. Provide group education.
  2. Transport consumers as necessary.
  3. Log new medications and store appropriately on unit.
  4. Observe self-administration of medicine on unit.
  5. Assist with orientation of new consumers.
  6. Complete paper and electronic documentation within required time frames.
  7. Attend staff meetings.
  8. Conduct disaster drill on each shift.
  9. Observe Unit Manual Policies and maintain high standards of professional behavior.


QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma/GED preferred, at least eighteen (18) years of age, a valid drivers license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E MO driver’s license by the end of the 60 day introductory period. Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to attend a 2-day orientation (Monday-Tuesday) required.

Must be comfortable working closely with people with addictions disorders and have a desire to provide excellent client care.  On-site training provided.
