Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Senior Accountant and Executive Director, the Accountant II is responsible for all cash postings, debt collections, accounts receivable, EFT and lock box transactions. Works in conjunction with the accounting staff and contract program managers regarding outstanding accounts receivables and budget maintenance and invoicing for large outside contracts. This is an in-person position on the downtown campus.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business or finance* Two years of professional experience in accounting, to include working as part of a collaborative financial team using Excel, Microsoft Word, and Intuit Quickbooks.

Preferred Qualifications

*5+ years of professional accounting experience*Experience in contract management*Working knowledge of Federal and State regulations pertaining to contracting
