The Account Development Rep is responsible for defining, developing, prospecting, servicing, and nurturing an account base by extracting requirements, creating opportunities, negotiating sales variables, and closing sales orders. This candidate will also have responsibilities in developing a group of accounts from a junior Business Development capacity. In this capacity, the ADR will work with established Account Managers to grow a targeted group of Accounts.

The successful candidate should be able to use consultative selling skills to clearly understand the customer's business requirements and recommend Converge solutions that will solve their business issues.

What You'll Be Doing

• The Account Development Representative will drive sales growth through new customer acquisition and rebuilding of underpenetrated relationships with Converge / Arrow customers
• This position will generate leads and follow-up on leads obtained through Converge /Arrow internal sources

• Cold calling, prospecting, developing, and servicing a customer base within new and existing customers
• Pricing and managing business quotes
• Creating opportunities, and closing sales
• Managing shortages of parts, obsolescence of parts, and excess inventory

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 3 years FIELD SALES EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY

• Highly motivated professionals with a passion for sales previous experience in direct sales, consultative sales, or account management in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with an industrial independent or franchised distributor is a plus.
• Experience selling technology products and/or services is strongly preferred
• The ability to negotiate sales and drive revenue
• Individuals eager to use their experience and consultative sales skills to clearly establish the customer's business requirements and recommend Converge solutions
• The ability to develop business relationships and penetrate and grow business from new and existing accounts
• Quick-thinking, problem-solving, and issue management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred

$67,500.00 - $82,500.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
