DaVita's Nephrology Practice Solutions (NPS) is a wholly owned subsidiary that works with Nephrologists committed to providing outstanding clinical and integrated kidney care to their patients. Our mission is to help Nephrologists transform the business and clinical Nephrology practices of the future.

NPS offers a variety of practice management and recruiting services for Nephrologists that provide assistance in running a successful, thriving practice. NPS has a specialized and experienced nephrology-centric team whose focus is on the unique needs of Nephrologists.

This position will support our Partners in Nephrology and Endocrinology (PINE) clinic in Bloomfield.

The Call Center Representative will handle a high volume of complex inbound calls which require attention to detail and the ability to multi task. Incoming call can be from patients, hospitals, physician's offices, and pharmacies. Schedule new and return patient appointments. Provide and relay information to appropriate party.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a courteous and timely manner.

Schedule new and return patient appointments Follow communication guidelines when handling different topics

Clarify message details and contact office staff and physicians Enter new patient information into Electronic Health Record Update existing patient information

Evaluate and respond to all aspects of written or received communication. Correctly deploy routine and urgent messaging, calls and emails. Access medical records as necessary.

Follow HIPAA protocols. Display excellent communication skills while interacting with patients, physicians and other staff members.

Display ability to work in a team environment.

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent

1+ years of customer service/call center experience in a high impact customer service role

Strong customer service skills

Knowledge of health insurance plans

Patient focused and adaptability to different personality types

Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively

Demonstrated ability in using computer and Windows PC applications.

Possesses empathy and compassion for the aging population and their needs

Ability thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Computer literacy including ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to work with minimal direction
